Kyle - FACE STUDY

Kyle was very interesting to photograph, because while we got lots of great shots he needed a lot of coaching for how to stand and pose. He is the king at blank stares and cheesy smiles. These people can prove to be the most frustrating because while they are “easy” to photography their faces are never that good. What I mean by that is that they can look good at any angle for the most part however there is never a true or good story behind their face, it’s just blah and boring. That is of course until you get inside their head and bring up stories and memories that gets them to open up and give you that great smile!  

I must say I captured some of my favorite “happy” pictures in this session. Kyle had said before the shoot that he always hates his smile, but as you can see he is totally wrong. You can’t help but feel happy when you see his true smile shine through!
