Pat + Christine | Renaissance Wedding Part 2

Pat & Christine’s wedding weekend part two! Lots more renaissance-fair style festivities plus their actual wedding ceremony—so many creative and inventive ways for the guests to have a great time. Want to have a wedding or just a party like this? This is exactly what the bride (Christine) does! Check out her stuff here for your next wild adventure:https://www.thebewilds.com/

Tons of amazing things to do all day, basket making, learning to start fires using only two sticks and a rock, clay sculpting, making spoons from wood, getting riverside massages, and don’t forget lounging around in the river with a beer keg.

Guests made up their own flags, and then had a full-out archery battle in the woods. People got into it!

After the epic battle, Christine and Pat cooled off in the river before getting ready for their wedding.

Married! And then everyone paraded on to the reception.

The Hive catered which was delicious, and Pat’s sister bought them an art piece of the constellation of the stars on August 10th, their wedding day.

One of my favorite wedding photos from my own wedding is of me kissing Susannah with our reception behind us, and now I make it a point to get one for couples on their wedding day.

Peter Mahar
I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
