Another stunning wedding at Camp Colton. I love doing weddings at this venue so much, rain or shine, there is so many great places to take photos. The guests always seem to have a really great time and love the setting as well. To this day I still get nervous before shooting a wedding, because so much of my style of photography is documentary, and so if your day does not go well or is not fun, I have to document that. This is why I stress so much to my couples to do all your planning and stressing leading up to the day and then sit back and relax and enjoy this epic party you just threw. Well Josh and Monica did a great job doing all the work before the wedding so they could truly enter in and enjoy the day with their friends and family.

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
