I loved getting to shoot at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse for Trevor and Kalli’s wedding! True to McMenamins form, it’s a fascinating old location—a former farmstead with buildings dating back to the 1850’s. The octagonal barn was gorgeous for photos, inside and out. We love photographing McMenamins Edgefield weddings, but this was at least second runner up for favorite McMenamins location, especially with all the summer foliage.

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine.
