Nick & Charlotte | Smoky Abernethy Center Wedding

I'm pretty sure Nick & Charlotte are the first couple we've ever photographed who were making an international move the day after their wedding. Charlotte will be teaching in Vietnam, so they've already moved and will be living there for the next two years. 

Not your average couple! And not your average day in Oregon, either. The Northwest wildfires have been crazy, and on Saturday, made a smoky, reddish haze all day, all the way in Oregon City. Made for some beautiful, sunset light for the whole day. 

The Veiled Garden was beautiful for the ceremony,  and the Abernethy Ballroom was a deliciously cool, more-fun-to-breathe spot for the reception. One of the most brim-full dance floors of committed partiers we've ever seen! (Including the fantastic dancing of the mother-of-the-groom).
