After a long day of standing and wearing beautiful shoes, Kelsie’s feet were hurting. Without even a question David scooped her up in his arms and carried her to where she wanted to go. It was a moment and I am so happy I was a part of it.

Both David and Kelsie are just all around kind people. They were not stressed out or worried about all the little details but trusted their friends and family. I also have to give a shout out to Kamala Cook for doing a kick butt job coordinating the wedding. I have done big weddings before and know how difficult they are, and she killed it.

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
