Jacob & Lindsey rode out the Covid changes throughout their engagement, and finally got married at Spring Water Lakes Estate in Oregon City! We’ve known Lindsey since birth, and it wasn’t SO long ago that she and I (Susannah) were twirling their puffy little girl dresses into teacups. I have such fun memories of birthday parties at her family’s home (where she got ready on her wedding day!), movies, her mom’s amazing cinnamon rolls, and daring adventures in their little backyard forest hillside.
Since their wedding was so close to our baby’s due date, Louis was the real second-shooter, and I got to attend the wedding (so fancy and rare!) and even bring our oldest, Samson. He’s almost 5, but he’s only been to weddings in utero (many) or as an infant or tiny toddler. Peter and I got to photograph the ceremony together, and Louis came back and took over while Samson and I got to eat cake (excellent) and dance! Made me fall in love with weddings all over again getting to see it through his awed eyes.
