A great photographer Chase Jarvis has some great fun ideas, one of which is asking people which photo they like better. Everybody has different likes and dislikes and when it comes to photography there is never really a right or wrong answer. What is fun and interesting to one person, is stupid and not well executed to another. What one person finds abstract, another finds jumbled up and confusing. So I want to ask you which photo do you like better and why? What do you think of the lighting, leading lines, composition etc. Pick photo A or B and bring the chops to back up your decision. -

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
