One of the cool things with wedding photography is we get to meet lots of people. And we are fortunate enough to work with mostly really fun and awesome couples. But some couples really stand out as just crazy genuine and just solid people, and it’s the best when it’s backed up by some amazing toats at the reception. I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
