Kneipp Wedding

What a beautiful wedding and couple! They are so good looking in fact, that while we were talking pictures down town, a homeless person slowly walked up to us. Thinking he might ask for the usual change for bus fair we gave our attention and waited. He scans the scene then says "Did you guys just get married?" -

"Yes!" replied the bride and groom in unison.

-

Then in a matter of fact way he askes "May I give the bride a kiss?"

-

There is a moment of awkward slience. We all looked at eatch other, not really knowing how to respond, yet all know exsactly what was on our minds.

-

"No!"

-

Well the rest of the day was very smooth, filled with laughter, ice-cream sandwiches, and great speeches.

-

Have fun looking at the joy in their faces! I know I had fun taking the pictures.

Cheers,

Peter Mahar
I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
