I wish I had more time to do a more in-depth write-up but alas we have been blessed with so many weddings this year, I only have time to keep it short and sweet. This was Anup and Boo’s night before their wedding day: called a Sangeet. I was able to arrive early and get some fun photos with them at the Silver Falls north falls, in Oregon. We then all headed over to basically the middle of nowhere with an amazing old barn where guests and family met up for special performances, food trucks, drink carts, more dogs than I have ever seen? and more. I can’t wait to do another Indian wedding, their colors are stunning and such a joy to photograph! Here is a link to their wedding day photos.

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine.
