To casually say 2011 will be better then 2010 is no easy task after you have had a killer 2010! A lot has happened in just one year that it really makes me excited to see what 2011 may being its way. In 2010 alone, I did advertising, family shoots, senior shoots, maternity shoots, new born shoots, and I finished the year with a wedding! I published "Legnica, Poland", a documentary book of the CREC churches missions trip to Poland and beyond. I traveled the USA, seeing over nine different states with my good friend Nick. Moved from Washington State all the way down to FLORIDA! Those are just some of the highlights that happened, and all along the way I have been taking photos, over 23,349 photos taken in 2010 alone! Here is a little slide show that recaps just some of the excitement that has happened in 2010!

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.

Starting the Year With A Bang!
