Alex and Priscilla

I am some what hesitant to have this on the record but...I am starting to like the wind at shoots. Granted no wind is great, and gives me lots more options, however I can get another creative type of photo when it is crazy windy out.

For example this last shoot I did on Saturday of Biglip Alex (DJ for Power 96 Miami!) was very windy as well. The shoot was primarily of him but we snagged a couple of both of them together, and they are so great together! Like unicorns and glitter as they say. One of my favorite shots of them together is when her hair is going nuts and they both are just smiling, you can't help but feel happy! That's why I love what I do!

We started on the 15th floor of a downtown Miami hotel until security kicked us out...bummer. Not to mention they also kicked out the bride and groom getting their pics taken :( Then we headed to the park right next to it and continued shooting till the sun went down. It was a blast working them them both, and Priscilla was such a huge help. I think she help up the reflector and flash for an hour straight! Thanks again!

Cheers,

PM

P.S I will be doing another post on Alex's single shots...it was after all a shoot for Alex, the couple ones were last min, but I am glad we were able to swing it!

Peter Mahar
I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
