Arthur + Hannah | Jenkins Estate
Arthur and Hannah know how to throw one fun party for their family and friends. She did lots of planning before the actual day, and once the wedding day happened, she relaxed and went with whatever happened. From a relaxing time getting ready with a few friends and family to the casual walking around the gardens for some couple photos. They put in so much work to make this wedding an absolute blast for friends and family. I hope you can tell from the photos how amazing these people are.
How did you guys meet and why did you decide to get married? : We met in early pandemic on Hinge the dating app. We bonded over ukulele, backpacking and lounging in the park while the world was closed. We got to know each other quickly during summer of 2020 and quickly became best friends. We wanted to get married because of tax purposes ;) but seriously because we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and a wedding was an opportunity to bring all of our favorite people in the world into one space for a day.
Why did you choose your venue? : We visited Jenkins Estate on a rapid fire weekend of seeing 10 venues in 3 days in Washington and Oregon. As soon as we walked into the park we were taken with the beautiful trees and surrounding green. It felt like we were deep in the Oregon forest, but just 25 minutes from the city.
What are three things you chose to do that you still think was a very good idea? : Lean on family, spreadsheets are your friend, write down the answer to every question you ask because you will inevitably forget the answer and want to know that information later.

A short break in the AC before heading back out for some family formals.

One of the flower girls found a loose flower and wanted to put it in Hannah’s hair.
I loved seeing the relationship dynamic of Arthur and his mom. He also had an amazing smile all day.
One of Arthur's chiropractor friends adjusted his neck for him.
Stretching before the first dance and practicing. The last photo is the bride and groom taking a moment because their nerves were so high for their first dance. And rightly so, it was the most intense first dance!
A first dance to end all first dances.
This is the bride’s brother who does videography professionally—he agreed to help out and film some performances and speeches. As you can see, he brought a lot of gear.
Order pizza around 9pm at your wedding—your guests will thank you. Also bubble guns and blow up pool balls for the dance floor? Huge hit!
Thank you for letting me photograph your wedding!
