Peter + Kelli | Zenith Vineyard Wedding
I love photographing weddings so much because there is so many amazing opportunities for journalism-type photos. I love telling the truth about what happened. It is such an honor when couples trust me with the story of their day, and care less about all the detail shots and everything being staged. We don’t have a shot list— if it happens and it’s important to the couple, we capture it. These are the photos that will be remembered & cherished the most in the years to come. This is one of the reasons I’ve never gotten tired of photographing weddings—for journalistic-style photography, you basically have to be ON the entire wedding and always have the camera close to your face and ready to fire.
Some great vendors to check out for this wedding as well.

The groomsmen playing poker while things are still calm and quiet.
Their dog Finn faithfully protecting Peter as he gets his hair cut.
Peter’s dad playing some pinball before the wedding. (I love how much the Zenith Vineyard wedding venue lends itself to a FUN getting-ready time!)
Got Louis bringing back up the bride’s shoes.
Louis thought I looked like the queen of England here. It was the bouquet holder to help keep the flowers off the ground. We never used it besides as a hat.
They rented the upper house at Zenith Vineyard which made for more great couple portraits and there was a fantastic breeze at the top which was very needed with how hot it got.
The groomsmen came and joined the party.
The clouds came rolling in and made everything very moody and windy, and brought some misty goodness.
Peter’s mom married them and she was very nervous as this was her first time ever—she did an amazing job!
Freshly-married and hanging out in the barrel room where it’s about 20 degrees cooler than outside.
I could do a whole blog post raving about Dana the coordinator for Zenith Vineyards. She truly goes above and beyond for every wedding. Here she is right after the wedding making sure the Peter and Kelli get a bite to eat.
The bride’s dad got the grandkids and their dog to all come together and do a joint toast for the bride and groom.
The bride’s niece came out to the dance floor and joined Peter and Kelli for their first dance, they loved it.
DJ Michael Trevino and his brother did an amazing job!
Peter and Kelli were such a fun couple and it was such a joy to be a part of their wedding!
