Ben and Hannah picked Old Davidson Ranch for their wedding, because it was all of Hannah’s summer-camp-wedding-weekend-dreams-come-true. They completely pulled off this vibe—it was a gorgeous wedding day at Silver Falls. Games, amazing food, the always essential conga line, and an abundant and delightful amount of both kids and dogs.

One of my favorite things they did was having their guests all bring a pie! Made for a heavy-laden dessert table and so much fun buy-in for all the guests.

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine.
