Matt & Bryn | The Evergreen PDX

When you meet Matt and Bryn for the first time, within the first five minutes you think to yourself, "Will you guys be my friends and can we hang out all the time?!" They're funny, cool, kind, and never awkward in conversation. There truly is never a dull moment between these two and if they didn't live in New York, I think I might ask them to go to the pub with me every other night and swap stories. 

I have never said it before, so I can honestly say it for reals, but they had the best speeches at their wedding I have ever heard. I don't know if they paid the people or what, but again, after hearing them you just want to hang out with these guys all the more. Don't even get me started on their dance floor, I don't think I have ever seen a groom with that much dedication and energy to his moves. Matt never stopped! 

Bryn is originally from Oregon, so she's a native at heart. Naturally, they had Voodoo Donuts, Salt & Straw ice cream, waiters with Blazer jerseys, oh, and did I mention Big Foot?!

I'm Peter Mahar, a professional wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up the youngest in crazy family of six--which was great, because I got to make my brothers and sisters laugh, and not-so-great, because I had to sit in the back of the van on the seat with the stupid bump in the cushion. I make pizza and talk a lot. I'm part Italian, so I use a lot of gestures (especially during photo shoots). I love deep conversations, a good fire, and a glass of wine. But most of all, I love Jesus, because He's great and I'm not.
