We've been looking forward to this wedding for a long time. Nicole is Megan's younger sister (two sisters married within a few months!), and I got to fly down to Denver for her shower a few weeks ago. We knew the wedding was going to be amazing, but it completely blew our expectations out of the water.
Adam and Nicole are a stunning, 100%-in-love-deep-down kind of couple, and their day turned out beautifully. Miraculously, it didn't rain or thunderstorm, despite the weather forecast and the entire rest of the weekend.
It was hands-down the most emotional ceremony I've ever seen--I don't know if there was a dry eye by the end. Actually, the entire day was emotional (I nearly lost it, repeatedly). The vows they wrote to each other, the song she sang to him as a surprise, the incredible sermonette on what real love is, the daddy-daughter songs in the slideshow, her grandparents (married 64 years) dancing to their first dance song from their wedding--the way everyone loved the heck out of each other. Amazing food, vigorous dancing, flowing beer keg, flasks hidden in cowboy boots--these people know how to throw a party.
