Geoff & Liz | University Club, Portland

Geoff and Liz are both engineers--to say their wedding was organized does not give you the true gravitas of the word. I don't think I have ever been to a wedding where the timeline was not only kept, but everyone was early! With a wedding this well planned, last-minute decisions are not usually a good idea. So when Liz came up to me and said they had a different idea for where they should do their couple photos, I hoped it would work out. We had a cool spot under the Hawthorne Bridge planned. But the next words that came out of her mouth were too good: "our friends offered their mansion for us to take photos at and their front lawn overlooks Portland." Yeah, we quickly ditched our plans for under the Hawthorne Bridge. This was way too exciting to pass up!

For this wedding I got to travel all the way down to Texas! Both Andrew and Esther were gloriously cute together and you can't help but fall in love with anyone that decided to do a confetti send off! Not to mention rainbow confetti.

People often ask us how people book us from places other than Oregon, well most of the time it's because they used to follow my wife's blog. In this case, it was first Esther's sister many many years ago and somehow they were crazy enough to ask me to come down and capture their wedding.
