Camden + Emma | The Fields at Willie Green's Wedding in Snohomish, WA

Emma is the fourth in a destination wedding sibling streak we’ve got going! We got to go up to the Seattle area to photograph Emma and Camden’s wedding this month—my family held down the fort of boys at home, and we got to have our first two-night trip since Almanzo, our fourth was born last summer! It was a fast and furious trip, but we had time to enjoy a little bit of Seattle in between.

We’ve gotten to photograph three of Emma’s siblings’ weddings (Lexi, Zoe, and Jacob), and every one of them has been delight. Each one has been completely different, but them joy, epic family dancing, and some usual suspects in the bridal party & guests have been top-notch.

October served us up a quintessentially perfect day, with a foggy, spider-web morning that turned into a clear, truly warm day. We got to drive out into the country to The Fields at Willie Green—such a relaxed, cozy venue, which had us wishing every wedding could have such a beautiful reception building!

This crowd was full of growing families adorable babies (including the four children that have been born to the siblings since we started photographing their weddings)! Camden was one of four boys (plus two sisters), so we were mining his classy parents for advice on our crew of four at home. Families that love each other this much are a treasure—siblings that look out for each other, cry together, and, let’s be honest, groom each other (see below). And parents who have worked hard to create wedding magic, lifting up and honoring their children during toasts, and winning big out there during the anniversary dance inspire us and make us excited for all the future holds with our own boys. (Maybe we’ll bring an assistant or two to wedding #5!)
