Andrew + Jessica | Joseph, Oregon Elopement Wedding

This was the definition of an adventure for a wedding. When I first met Jessica and Andrew over FaceTime, we instantly hit it off and they felt like family. Jessica and Andrew planned such an epic getaway out in Joseph, Oregon. A beautiful part of our state without many people, and abundant areas to get lost and explore the beautiful terrain. We all stayed at the very delightful Bronze Antler Bed and Breakfast and were treated with delicious cobbler, quiche, sausage, and fresh-baked cookies.

The wedding day itself we all woke up, are breakfast together, and then we all had the whole morning to hike, ride the gondola up into the mountains, and just enjoy the town of Joseph. Then we all got ready and drove to the very remote area of Imnaha, at which point the Toyota cruiser broke down. We literally had to push it the last few feet to our first pit stop before making our way up the mountain. Now one vehicle down, lucky for us, Andrew and Jessica are friends with a local who happens to know everyone in town, and we were able to borrow the bartender’s truck and get the rest of the way to our destination. What a stunning location to have a wedding—no one else in sight for miles, just some cows in the distance. We feasted on amazing food yet again, enjoyed the last drops of sunset, and then were completely wowed by some of the best stars I’ve ever seen.

Such an honor to get to hang out with a group of friends who seemed like I’d known them forever, in such amazing locations!
