We got the whole gang together for Alex and Abby’s wedding! Peter and I (Susannah) got to photograph as a team again, and Louis was on video. The Columbia Gorge was at it’s chilly, windy, and gorgeous finest. Westcliff Lodge is a new venue to us, and it was delightful to discover the unique ceremony spot and beautiful cliffs and views. These two are all about fun and adventure, and they brought their whole personalities to their wedding day—always our favorite! And we’ve never seen so many dogs at a wedding, including their regal Alvie.
Alex and Abby chose us for our photo-journalism, and their relaxed day (+ no bridal party!) allowed us to really just capture it as it unfolded. Keep an eye out for the impressive cupcake display (a combination of Abby’s fearless creativity + Alex’s engineering brain). The rain came & went, sweaters, coats, and blankets were shared and borrowed, and the dancing was a glorious finish to the day that warmed everyone right up.
Great team of vendors, including truly great cupcakes from Saint Cupcake, (sustainable) florals by Coy and Co., classy and decked out team for DJ & photo booth by Chad Dowling. Such a blast to hang out with this crowd late into the night!
