I have been fortunate enough to do a few weddings now at the Apostolic Faith Church for some amazing couples. Xavier and Savannah were no different—it’s always amazing to be able to photograph two strong families who really love each other and the two families coming together on the wedding day!

How did you guys meet and why did you decide to get married? : We met at church through family. We became best friends and decided we want to live the rest of our lives together!

Why did you choose your venue? : I have never really thought of having my wedding anywhere else but at my home church.

What were three things you learned in the wedding planning process you wish you knew before?: 1) How much the wedding would cost.
2) Timelines for different things.
3) Who is responsible to do what.

What are three things you chose to do that you still think were a very good idea?

1) Hire you!
2) Ask for plenty of help/delegate tasks.
3) Meet with the wedding coordinator many times to go over details.
